Charissa Luke is co-owner of Zest Bakery, a gluten-free bakery in the San Francisco Bay Area. Charissa is a self taught baker that was first introduced to gluten-free baking when she met her husband Patrick who has Celiacs Disease. After years of experimental baking in the home kitchen, Charissa and her husband Patrick Luke opened Zest Bakery in 2010 to fill a void on the SF peninsula. Zest Bakery is well known for their local and organic selection of delectable sweets like cookies, muffins, cupcakes, and even wedding cakes as well as their savory items like fresh sandwiches, pizza, and breads. While most of the products at Zest Bakery are gluten free, dairy free, and soy free, Charissa and the baking team are always working on new allergen friendly sweet and savory treats.
