Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Running a successful blog requires time management and organization, creativity, courage, and goal setting. This panel discussion will cover how to create, update, and grow a blog while balancing your work and family life. Panelists will share what works and what doesn't, based on their own experiences, without cheating your family and outside responsibilities.

We will discuss some basic blogging tips to include:
- Calendar: How to create and maintain an editorial calendar for your blog
- Scheduling: How to schedule blog posts, social media updates, and even PINs
- Newsletters: Scheduling, how to grow your subscribership, and why they’re important
- Menu planning: The importance if you’re a food blogger, but also why it helps balance your sanity at dinner time – as well as your budget.
- Less is More: When to say no, not over commit, and why you should never apologize for a “blog break”
- Goals & Niche: How to set goals, make them happen, and stay within your niche to grow your readership.
- Sharing Safely: How to be mindful of the personal information you share about yourself and/or your children, in the interest of privacy and safety.
