My husband Duane & I volunteered 5 years in our community. Over the past four years we led and organized the Nevada FARE Charity Walk Event and also created the community walk grant project called "Educate Las Vegas". Our grant proposals resulted in :
1. Over the past 2 years, along with FARE, we partnered with CCSD to oversee and establish the 1st ever Clark County School District (CCSD) Allergy Management Guidelines.
2. As FARE representatives, along with Principal Naegle, we implemented staff wide training for all of CCSD
3. Invited to testified on behalf of Southern NV in support of SB453 Epinephrine in Nevada Schools Bill.
4. Helped support the launch of FABcon through the 2012 Walk grant (paid for facility).
5. Guest speakers in Chef Keith's classes at the Culinary Art Institute of LV
